Brian
E. Cobb is the President
and principal shareholder of CobbCorp, a media merger and
acquisition company representing clients in the television,
radio and telecom segments of media.
Mr. Cobb has more
than 35 years of experience in the broadcast industry as an
owner, manager and broker, and was a principal and founder of
Media Venture Partners before starting CobbCorp. Over the
last 20 years, he has brokered more than $5 billion in radio and
television properties, and has been involved in the brokerage of
more television stations than any other individual broker in the
industry. His brokerage background includes functioning as Vice
President of Television with another firm for five years prior
to founding Media Venture Partners.

General Electric Broadcasting
Denver, CO and Nashville, TN Mr. Cobb served as Executive Vice
President of General Electric Broadcasting Company and General
Manager of their AM/FM/TV combos in Denver and Nashville. He was
the most often promoted manager during his term with General
Electric Broadcasting.
Community Affairs
Mr. Cobb is
active in charities that serve his local community. Having
been a founding member of the Naples Children and Education
Foundation, he remains on its Board of Directors.
Mr.
Cobb has also served as Chairman and co-founder of the Naples
Winter Wine Festival, which in its fifth year, had become
the highest grossing wine auction in the world. The annual
weeklong event has also raised more than $30 million for local
children's charities.
Mr.
Cobb was appointed by Governor Bush to serve as a trustee for
Florida Gulf Coast University. He is also a trustee of
the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County. Mr. Cobb was
named "Man of the Year" by the editors of Gulfshore Life
Magazine in 2001 and in 2004 was named “Philanthropist of
the Year.” Mr. Cobb is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an
honorary business fraternity.
Mr.
Cobb has served on panels for many trade organizations,
including the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB),
the National Association of Television Program Executives
(NATPE), and is a past President of the National Association
of Media Brokers (NAMB).
